Should we do a supper club one? Maybe that same weekend that JenO was going to heve hers. I volunteer my house and a side dish and a Mrs Smith's pie. Classy!

When: Saturday October 25.
Time: 1:00 for Greenbluff; 5:00 for Supper Club
Where: Greenbluff/Jennifer's House

What: Meet at my house to carpool to Greenbluff for the fall festival and then return for a late afternoon baked potato bar. I'll supply the potatoes, everyone else bring toppings!

Maybe this will be the day I'm brave enough to try non-dairy sour cream?

MTV VMA Supper Club

When: Sunday, September 7th
Where: Manito Park
Time: 5pm

Particulars: Meet at the stairs by the greenhouse in Manito Park at 5pm. Bring picnic-y type food. After picnic in park is over, we all drive to Karla's house to watch the MTV Video Music Awards in HD for some much needed mocking. Britney may or may not make an appearance, but the Jonas brothers will be there for sure!

July Supper Club BBQ

OK people, I have made a decision.

The July Supper Club BBQ will be on the 26th, a Saturday for maximum drinking pleasure. Kate, I expect you to be there since you'll be done with your bar exam and ready to continue your drinking!

I'd like people to bring side dishes (salads, veggies, whatever), so Karla I think you know what it is that I'd like you to bring.

I will be grilling up steak and chicken hamburgers (by request), and if there's any other suggestions on what to throw on there, let me know.

If you'd like to bring along some friends or partners, that's cool too, just let me know so I know how much meat to have on hand. I'm hoping Jennifer C. will bring her husband because I know he loves steak.

Oh yeah, almost forgot--Karla, I bet your mint needs to be cut back, doesn't it? We need mojitos!!

An Idea For June

There was some discussion last night about Supper Club at Faythe's last night. Apparently Jen-O's future sister in law is going to be a contestant on a strange game show from Japan that will be on ABC on June 24th, a Tuesday. We thought it would be fun to watch it and do a Japanese themed dinner. What do you all think? And who wants to host? I can always do it if nobody else feels like it.
